PREY PUBLIC

Prey Public was born from the intrigue of the transformative power fashion holds. Power to express one’s secrets, or act as a uniform to conceal that which we wish to be unknown. Prey Public is an exploration of what it means to be predator or prey and how one can encompass both simultaneously. The garments are a focus of the dichotomy between vulnerability, that which is worn closest to our skin, and security, that which is worn to protect us from the elements. Each of these pieces speak of identity, environment and the integral relationship between the two, not one without effect on the other. Utilizing fabric as language, to speak the stories of human experience. 

Prey Public is based in New York, working with sustainability sourced materials to create custom - your one and only - garments. The S/S 2021 collection - Bloom - Was made in memory of Stacy, Indigo and the girl I once was. To bloom where you are planted, the delicate evidence of a cold winter's survival.
