Twins designers Margarita and Cristina Ng Ng were born in the Dominican Republic to Chinese parents. As twins, they were fascinated by creating clothes for their stuffed animals using their own socks as the only material, they liked to dress them up. Without knowing their mom was a seamstress, she used to tell them that their babies’ clothes were made by her. They decided to name their label Ng2 to honor their last names. After graduating from high school, they decided to come to New York to pursue their passion for fashion. They both wanted to work as a team and decided to get their MFA in fashion design. They both worked together to create a collection based on their lives as twins. They love to design oversized and voluminous pieces adding a touch of streetwear.
