Mia Cherise is US based brand that was founded by its owner Tamia Aikens, who was born and raised in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Tamia launched her brand for women with the same unique style and taste that she loves to wear. At a young age, Tamia always made it known that she wanted to be a fashion designer. On June 1st, 2020, at the age of 22, she officially made this happen. Prior to Mia Cherise, Tamia worked as a make up artist in the cosmetics department at Macys.

During the start of COVID-19, she decide to begin working on her first collection, ‘SUBTLE’. Within the first week of officially launching her brand, the collection sold out of every garment completely! Never expecting as much traction as the brand received, Tamia was both overwhelmed and overly thankful for the success of her first official launch. That experience has given Tamia the boost she needs to pursue her dream and have the opportunity to showcase her designs at NYFW.
