Bendición

Bendición is a New York City based brand, created with intent to distribute NYC’s energy, vibe, attitude and style with the rest of the world. “Bendición” which means “a Blessing” is a tradition in Puerto Rican Culture. Puerto Rican children and adults greet their parents and elders with “Bendición”. It is considered a Sacred Exchange where one is asking for a blessing and in response the parent or elder will say, “Que Dios te Bendiga”, which is translated to, “ may God bless you”.

Our First collection, “Chronicles of a Successful Failure” depicts the storyline of Gonzalez's personal perceived losses and transforming them into victories. 

Bendicións first portfolio of luxury hoodies are overwhelmingly influenced by the Bronx characteristics: Hip Hop Roots, graffiti, hyperlocal bodega culture, breakdancing, Latin musical influences, hood streetwear couture, and art.
