Aflé Bijoux is a German-Ivorian jewelry brand that designs striking and elegant luxury jewellery for any occasion. Inspired by the Akan traditions in Côte d´Ivoire and Ghana, it aims to celebrate independent women by offering them fine, unique, modern and culturally-rich luxury jewellery pieces that express their individuality, self-confidence and charisma.  The Akan tradition has always honoured and respected women. It embodies a culture where women enjoy equality, recognition, independence and economic power. They take up predominant political and social obligations and are the pillars of their community.  Strength, independence, self-confidence, self-determination and self-love; these are the values that the brand has epitomized since its inception in 2010.

The art and symbolism of this rich and lively culture, blended with modern jewellery designs, reflect the DNA of the brand and distinguishes the Aflé Bijoux collection above others. The unique and timeless note of each design is crafted by pairing traditional Akan gold weights and Adinkra symbols with exquisite material such as 18-carat gold, 925 Sterling silver, rhodium, precious stones and sweet water pearls. The lines of this jewellery brand are triply precious and their luxurious nature is derived from high-quality material and traditional savoir-faire, the cultural value of each design, as well as the significance and sentimental value that each piece brings to the person who wears it. The fine collections present both manufactured and unique handmade pieces and include necklaces, sautoirs, rings, bracelets, earrings, brooches for women, as well as some exquisite pieces for men.

Aflé Bijoux was founded in 2010 by Oukassa, an Akan native from Côte d´Ivoire who has successively lived and worked in Canada, Switzerland, Austria, The Netherlands and Germany, where she is now based. She blends her multicultural personality with her strong Akan heritage to create her unique jewellery designs. Her work has been showcased at major international events in Africa, Europe and America including BIJOHRCA Paris, the JA New York Show, Paris Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. Aflé Bijoux has also been featured in VOGUE, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, GQ, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, L´OFFICIEL, Glitz Africa, Marie-Claire and more.
